City Huset in Eskilstuna, a town of 100.000 population south west of Stockholm, is a sixties purpose built retail building, occupying entire town block in the city. Forum Architects has been advising over the years a succession of owners, on various aspects of this centre. The City Huset will now, under a new ownership and management of the Scandinavia's largest property owner NIAM/Newsec, undergo a major restructuring, resulting in a modern mixed use city development, confirming its dominating role in the city retail for years to come, while adding some new, more urban elements.
